What's Love Got To Do With It?
With Joel & Michelle Levey
July 26 - 30, 2006
Hollyhock Retreat Center, Cortez Island, B.C.
The miracle and mystery of Love
lies at the heart of the world's great spiritual traditions. Yet for many people love, relationship and spiritual practice raise profound
questions. How does the personal love between individuals also become an expression and vehicle for the Big Love? What is the difference between
attachment and love? How to heal the heart-mind split? Which practices and ways of being with one another expand our capacity to affirm
aliveness, intimacy and authenticity? How to widen the circle of love?
Both individuals and people in relationship are invited to explore the meaning and dynamics of love and relationship on the spiritual path. In
the sacred field of deep listening, lovingly tended dialogue, reflection, and dynamic fun illuminating exercises, create new pathways to deep
spirited heartful connection.
Beginners, as well as those well-seasoned in inner disciplines, will find practical value in this inspiring retreat. Come prepared to savor the
miracle of each mindful moment, to celebrate your place in the sacred circle of life, and to awaken more deeply to your true nature and highest
potentials.

Recent breakthroughs in meditation
and mind-science research offer a wealth of compelling evidence, inspiration, and affirmation for the power and potentials of meditation
practice as an adjunct in treating healthcare patients. Dr. Joel and Michelle Levey will draw from a combined 60+ years of research,
study, practice, clinical work, and teaching to share insights regarding various disciplines of meditation with profoundly practical
applications in medicine, health, and human potential. They will offer a review of current research, and introduce participants to a number of
methods of meditation that offer both personal value for physicians/health caring professionals, and clinical application in working with
patients.
