Reflections from 45 years of Mindfulness in Medicine:

Inspiring Insights and Profoundly Practical Applications in Clinical Practice

With Dr. Joel Levey, Founder, Wisdom at Work

NOTE: This lecture is part of the events in conjunction with our the 27th Annual Pain Management & Sports Medicine Symposium, on Friday, October 13 in Seattle, WA.

Drawing insights from more than 45 years of clinical practice, research, and mindfulness practice, this special Grand Rounds session with Dr. Joel Levey will offer an introduction to the wise applications of mindfulness in medicine. As providers, mindfulness is a vital key to our own personal care and resilience, as well as to the quality of deep listening, presence, and care that we embody and convey as we interact with our patients and staff.

This inspiring session will illuminate the profound practicality of the mindfulness disciplines, and the depth, power, and simplicity of its varieties of practice for mastering attention, self-regulation, and cultivating a quality of presence, to integrate into every aspect of your daily life and work.

Whether you are new to mindfulness or a seasoned practitioner, this session will offer a wealth of insights and inspiration with immediate application and value.
